Mentorship

Being a practitioner of Traditional East Asian Medicine can be tough!

We all need help sometimes and we can help each other.

About half of all practitioners are not practicing five years out of school.  This statistic speaks to how much we need each other so that our initial love for the medicine, investment of time and money into it is not thwarted at the starting gate. The White Pine Circle is an environment that has been created with the needs of the practitioner in mind.

Find a Mentor

We invite you to use our forums to receive support where you need it. You can also start a group or forum to focus on specific topics you would find helpful or interesting. In addition, we have elders in the Circle who are ready to help you with any of the following.

  • Guidance on cases with case-specific guidance on diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Support in working through doubts and insecurity
  • Guidance on practice and pharmacy set-up

Be A Mentor

If you would like to open an office in the White Pine Circle to mentor others, we offer this free of charge to members. All proceeds from your mentoring go to support you. Once you are a member, you can apply to become a White Pine Circle Mentor.

Community

The White Pine Circle is a living ecosystem, brought to life by all of us.

The White Pine Circle is here to support, not only your work with Traditional East Asian Medicine, but East Asian Medicine itself. When we thrive, the medicine thrives as well.

The Circle promotes community in the following ways:
Through our in depth discussion forums
Through round tables, book clubs and small group mentoring.
Through our world map
Through collaborations
It feels good to be connected to others in our work, which otherwise can be overwhelming and isolating. We can experience the complexity with connectedness and curiosity.
