“The Magic of Moxibustion,” a three-class series with Yuki Itaya, explores lesser known applications of moxa in the treatment of Long Covid, skin diseases, and stress.
Class One: Moxa with Long Covid Study
In this class, Yuki Itaya, trustee of Moxafrica gives insights into the design of the Long Covid Study. She explains how each of the four protocols was chosen, which one had the best outcome, and what we can learn from these results. You will learn both how to add these into your practice, as well as techniques to share with your patients for self care.
Class Two: Dermatology Moxa, Eczema, Psoriasis, and Skin Disease
Learn how to choose where to moxa, what to look for, treatment duration, and techniques. This protocol can provide immediate relief for symptoms such as itching, dryness, or redness, and can be used to strengthen or complement other treatments.
Class Three: How to RESET your body using moxa. (Stress/ Sympathetic system)
In the final class, you will learn moxibustion strategies to help calm busy bodies and brains, address stress, and generally make the body more receptive to treatment.
