Needle-top Moxa vs Chinetsu Kyu

Loading Events

In this class we will dive deep into a fundamental difference between TCM and Japanese moxibustion, using moxa not only for tonification but also for dispersion. Most of you learned how to do needle top moxa in school, but for this class I will dial in when you use it and when you should use Chinetsu Kyu instead. This will be a hands-on class so please bring a brand of moxa similar to the quality of Wakakusa moxa, a magnetic pie sheet from your kitchen, some tissues, and some magnets. To practice needle top I suggest having a piece of a friend (or yourself). This class will build upon the first resource of ‘Oshide and Japanese Needling Technique’ and continue to be technically utilized in the third resource of the series entitled Dai Kan (Big Cold) protocols of Yoshimasu Todo.
