2 Hour Class
Tuesday 12/17 from 12 – 2pm EST
(session will be recorded)

“During the winter months all things in nature wither, hide, return home, and enter a resting period, just as lakes and rivers freeze and snow falls. This is a time when yin dominates yang.” Neijing Suwen (Ni 1995)

In this two hour course, we will look through the six conformation lens of the Shang Han Lun for staging and addressing external pathogenic factors when using the Saam acupuncture tradition. Effective strategies will be presented for each conformation as well as recognizing pathogenic conditions that require combining different strategies.

To move from theory to clinical practice, recent cases will be presented to illustrate how to apply these strategies to common winter time clinical presentations.
