Program Objectives

  1. To feel confident with our clinical competence and be excited to work with patients with a deep understanding of the clinical relevance of the Classical Chinese Medical texts in the 21st Century.

  3. To have a clinically relevant understanding of the Classical Chinese Medical texts, Nan Jing, Shan Han Lun, Ling Shu. 
  4. To be able to apply our understanding to increase the potency and effectiveness of our treatments. 
  5. To become a skilled and confident practitioner increasingly able to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes for our patients. 
  6. To be able to effectively apply treatment using the highly refined skills of Traditional Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion harmoniously integrated with diagnostic capacity honed by our study of the Classical Chinese Medical texts. 
  7. To be able to apply these skills to a variety of areas of medicine including respiratory and digestive illnesses, gynaecology, pregnancy, postpartum, cancer, mental-emotional, metabolic and autoimmune illnesses. 
  8. To be excited and inspired to practice our beautiful medicine and feel content at the end of our day in clinic. 
  9. To increase our ability to enjoy a deeply prosperous career practicing our beautiful medicine.
INSTRUCTOR

Alan Jansson

Alan Jansson is an internationally recognized teacher and practitioner of Japanese Acupuncture.

In clinical practice for 35 years, he is driven by a strong desire to use the consumer friendly nature and potency of Traditional Japanese Acupuncture to benefit all who seek his assistance, he is passionate about delivering excellence and positive clinical outcomes for his patient’s.

He has presented, convened and hosted more than 70 Traditional Japanese Acupuncture/Meridian Therapy workshops in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Portugal, Italy, Indonesia and the Czech Republic.

Alan is a proud father of beautiful twin daughters, one of whom is his associate in practice and grandfather to 3 gorgeous grandchildren. He is also an active surfer, traveller, avid photographer, videographer and lover of music.
